My name is Sels and I love to code.

I love other things too but code is in my top 5. This works out great for you if you need a website coded. I love WordPress too (another top 5 fave), so if you need a theme, plugin or any type of WordPress customization, I can come in pretty handy.

When I was growing up I never said I wanted to be a web designer or a programmer, the web didn’t even need designing back then. But when I got my first taste of web design back in the late 90s I was sold. I went through quite a few blog platforms back then, some of which are now no more. And of the ones out now my heart lies with WordPress. It's what I know backwards and forwards so I stick with it.

CodeNextDoor is running on WordPress because I wanted to demonstrate some of the versatility of my favorite blogging platform. Everything from the static pages to the blog to managing downloads (coming soon) is all handled by WordPress.

WordPress is not just for blogs anymore. As this site grows and changes over time I needed a flexible system to keep up with those changes and WordPress fits the bill.
